The quality of data is paramount in every business. The typical way to guarantee quality of data is to adopt a stringent set of rules that define the structure of data themselves: the so called schema. However, governing the schema is a non-trivial task, since schemas tends to change over time. Confluent Schema registry helps in managing schemas as well as governing the way schemas can evolve. This session gives an introduction to the Confluent Schema Registry, explaining the benefits of its usage from the management as well as the development perspective.
