This talk shows how to set up real-time analytics using Kafka and ClickHouse. We'll cover the basics of ClickHouse, including its architecture and how it handles data at scale. Then we'll walk through different ways to ingest streaming data from Kafka—using the Kafka engine, Kafka Connect, and ClickPipes—highlighting the pros and cons of each. We'll also look at how ClickHouse deals with semi-structured data like JSON. The session finishes with a live demo showing data flowing in and being queried in real time.
