Shuyi Chen is a Member of Technical Staff on the Data Platform team at OpenAI. Prior to joining OpenAI, he led the development of Meta’s SQL stream processing platform (XStream) and led stream processing platform at Uber. He is a committer on both Apache Flink and Apache Calcite. He has years of experience in data infrastructure, storage infrastructure at OpenAI, Meta, Uber and Google.
