I've been working with people and data for 8 years, I started on the IC track focusing on big problems with big data and over the last years have transitions to managing teams of engineers tackling complex big data issues.
In the recent years I've focused on the system re-architecture that drove Forter’s move to a Kafka-powered hub-and-spoke model, designed and implemented cost-effective cross-region data replication.
Additionally we've led company wide processes to standardise data practices and introduce methods to decouple teams and systems.
In recent years I've been managing data intensive teams both in the streaming, batch and DB domains.
I love working on complex problems that affect the way the organization at wide operates.
