Souman is an Engineering Manager with over 14 years of experience. Throughout his career Souman has has spearheaded data platform teams at medium-sized companies, building solution for data analytics, ETL Pipeline and data-warehousing.

Currently, he leads core infra platform team at LinkedIn, building some of the foundational components including Kafka Schema Registry that powers LinkedIn's complex infrastructure.
Souman is passionate about ensuring data integrity and operational efficiency at scale, with a focus on building platforms for schema lifecycle management, cluster, shard and distributed quota management.

Souman also leads the WIT(Women In Technology) India chapter with the goal of reducing the gender imbalance among software engineers.
